EPR Portal for the Central Environmental Authority

Sri Lanka imports plastic mostly as small pellets, which manufacturers turn into everyday plastic items. To manage this responsibly, the Central Environmental Authority needed a digital system that tracks plastic imports, usage, and post consumer waste management, holding companies accountable for the environmental impact of their products under the Extended Producer Responsibility framework.

As the total solution provider handling design, development, and deployment, OAK Integrated Systems built the EPR Portal, a centralized system that helps authorities monitor how much plastic enters the country, how it is used, and how companies meet their environmental obligations. The portal includes real time data tracking and reporting modules for environmental performance analysis.

The completed portal supports better waste management, promotes recycling, and enables Sri Lanka's transition toward a more sustainable plastic economy.
